vote for humanity even if that means abstaining.

I think writing our candidate in is better than not voting at all, don't you?

Please consider contributing on the 16th of December. Ron Paul needs the publicity of another big fund raising day.
I’m a veteran of the U.S. Air Force active duty (4yrs) and I currently serve as a traditional guardsman in the Air National Guard. All military personnel upon enlistment take the oath: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…” A vote for Rep. Paul does just that. Ron Paul has my support.
There is an obvious media bias and it is sad. Rep. Paul is the one candidate of the crowd who has substantially differing views and he was not given much of a chance to articulate those views. Much time was given to marginal issues and small differences between other candidates’ positions on the issues. I suspect many special interest groups have much to lose if a President Paul had a chance to use his veto pen. This is reflected in the lack of time given to Rep. Paul.

If Paul doesn't win, there ISN'T a backup plan as far as the presidential election goes. We would have to educate people to issues for another 4 years, but it will be easier because there are a LOT more people awake to real issues now. We can support and promote organizations like Downsize DC, Gun Owners of America, the Natural Solutions Foundation (regarding health freedom) and others. We can promote pro-freedom websites, podcasts, and radio programs. We can also get involved in our local communities to throw out the Patriot Act as a number of states and cities have done.

We take to the streets! We organize and bring the truth to the eyes of the world. This country was founded on revolution. Don't let the words of Jefferson and Franklin die in vain. As the great Bob Marley once said, "Get up, Stand up!, Stand for your Right! Get up Stand up, Don't Give up the Fight!"

I say we boycott the whole two-party thing and refuse to vote.
The only reason Paul's running as a Republican is because he knows he'll never make it running as a Libertarian.
If he were to lose the republican run-off, though, it would be nice if he decided to run as a Libertarian anyway. If nothing else, he's got the popularity to pull several votes away from the two main parties.

Refusing to vote doesn't boycott the two party system. It shows up in the stats as another bum who decided not to vote.
Vote for the candidate you'd like to be President, even if he's not one of the chosen ones. That's the only way to effectively have your voice heard in an election.

Paul will run as an Independent if he doesn't get the Republican Nomination, I would bet money on it. The question is, would Kucinich follow him there?

He's said he won't run as an Independent.

Write in Ron Paul. You stll have a choice. I will write in Ron Paul, becuase I will choose my candiudate, not have it chosen for me. I will write in Ron Paul, becuase my vote for him will be my statement to the parties that I WILL NOT COMPLY. PERIOD.

In my view there is no backup plan if Ron Paul doesnt win. He is the only true President for this Country.
I pray to God of the Universe, Abraham, and Isaac that Ron Paul leads this Country and stands up for whats right and thats the freedom of its people. Please God help us.
